Dispatch book. Contains thirty-four dispatches to Thomas Humphrey Cushing, William Eustis, William Henry Harrison, Return Jonathan Meigs, James Morrison, Isaac Shelby, and others. It is a day by day account of his campaign dealing with the sufferings and hardships of the soldiers for want of supplies of food and clothing; the cramped position of commanders of the armies; and the general incompetence and indifference in so many of the person responsible for the state of affairs.
