Jean Jockwig Pearson, who is a member of the San Francisco Potters Association, demonstrates the potter’s wheel and how it works. She shows basic shapes and how they are developed on the wheel. The program includes a display of many kinds of pottery and their inter-relationship in form and structure along with sculpture from the wheel.
