Description Marionettes are used to tell the story of a wife who longed for some rapunzels (cross turnips and rutabagas) which grow in a witch's yard. The husband agrees to give the witch his first child in exchange for the rapunzels, but does not tell his wife of this. Their first child is born and the witch comes for her and takes the child away to a tower and names the child Rapunzel.
