Description |
Uses diagrams, and shows photographs of several generations of offsprings from selected parents to assist Dr. Roney in explaining how the mechanism of inheritance works. The independent assortment of pairs of genes is what accounts for variations within generations, and Dr. Roney uses mathematics and diagrams to show how many variations are possible in each member of each generation. He explains how predictions about offspring can be made, and why and how these predictions can be inaccurate.
