Description Discusses the development of strong attachments on the part of boys and girls to the parent of the opposite sex during the ages of two to five years. Explains why romantic feelings start early in the young child and how parents should react to loves and hates during this period of child growth. Answers questions from mothers and fathers concerning various problems which arise because of the strong likes and dislikes of children toward their parents.
