In this TV telecast Esther Williams plays a movie star that meets a prince with eight wives played by Fernando Lamas while she is shooting her show in Cypress Garden Florida. The prince and Williams have a romantic fling. Comedic relief is provided by Joey Bishop who plays Williams press agent. During the course of the show Williams performs aquatic scenes with the prince's wives, children, and the prince.
