A New Supervisor Takes A Look At His Job

Description	Bill Todd, a machine tool operator, is promoted to a supervisor position. Using dramatized illustrations, the plant supervisor explains to Bill the meaning of working with people instead of machines. Pointing out that "a supervisor's value is determined by the output of the people he works with," it is shown that maintaining the productivity of workers requires a different set of skills from operating a machine.
