Campaign Spots

Over the course of an unprecedented six-term career in the United States Senate, Senator Richard Lugar of Indiana ran a number of successful election and re-election campaigns. On this page, you will find selected television spots from each of Lugar's campaigns for the Senate from 1976 to 2000, as well as an extended biographical video that was produced during Lugar's Presidential campaign in 1996. Senator Lugar served in the United States Senate until 2012.
