Description

Pieced cotton eight-point star quilt; star blocks are white with eight elongated diamonds in two patterned fabrics forming a star; these blocks alternate with plain blocks of white fabric with tiny brown stripes and flowers; wide border (app. 7 1/2") of this same fabric on al four sides; white backing; plain blocks quilted in four four-petaled flowers; pieced blocks quilted in diagonal lines, as are borders; very thin cotton stuffing; tiny tag in one corner is printed in red "Kate Hevner".
