Description
This watercolor sketch reads, "To My Dear Mother," and comes from the notebook of Marie Boisen, the daughter of Louisa Wylie Boisen. From around 1888 to 1889, Marie used the notebook to do sketches, write poetry, and record her daily activities. At this time Marie would have been around nine years, and living at the Wylie House with her then-widowed mother, Louisa.
