Wylie House Entry Hall Mural

The mural of the museum’s entry hall depicts Bloomington in 1835, the time of the home’s construction. This world of farmhouses, rural life, and the small, developing campus of Indiana University, hardly reflects the Bloomington of late 19^th century, the setting of Louisa, Maggie, and Seabrook's lives as a mothers.
