Sunday Sept. 9
Dear Dick,
I suppose that by now you are getting settled in your new quarters and have found out where the dining room is. How about the food and is there a drug store or something close where you can get your before bed snack?
Mother told me that you had a large room but some what bare. I bet that it will fill up pretty fast.
It has been raining here about every day. Tommie and I went out to the farm yesterday but there was plenty of mud. All of the high school teams played in the rain and mud Friday night.
If you need anything buy it there or we will send it, whichever is the most convenient.
Call and reverse the charges whenever you want to as that would be the easiest way for you.
With Love,
Daddy.
