Staged concert performance of Verdi Requiem - conceived, written, and conducted by Murray Sidlin. Production is a re-creation of the circumstances of the performance of Verdi's Requiem as it was sung by prisoners at the Nazi concentration camp at Terezin.
The program tells the story of conductor Raphael Schacter and his Terezin musicians through dramatic reenactments, archival film, interviews with camp survivors, and Verdi's music.
