Charles E. Meister

Little is known of this artist, who enjoyed some success as an illustrator with the Page Company in Boston. Meister illustrated several books in the "Little Cousin" and "Little Cousins of Long Ago" series; these included Evaleen Stein's Frankish Cousin, Celtic Cousin, and Crusader Cousin.

Meister may have been best known for his illustrations for books by George Barton, a journalist and writer based in Philadelphia who published several works of detective fiction with the Page Company during the second decade of the twentieth century.
