Maryetta Holsapp born 1899, died 1910. Dove iconography is frequently seen on tombstones. They can symbolize hope, peace, and Christian notions of souls ascending to heaven. "Billing" is a term for doves kissing. Montgomery noted that this tombstone is carved limestone.
