An account of the resource
This collection is comprised of records of Eggshell Press, the name for a publishing operation that consisted of a mimeograph machine housed in the spare bedroom of Carol B. Chittenden and her husband from fall 1967 to August 1968. During this time, most of the flyers and memorandum that were distributed during and after demonstrations, rallies, vigils, and marches on Indiana University's Bloomington campus were printed on the Eggshell Press. Included in this collection are copies of numerous fliers and circulars created by the Press during its existence.
