John Nelson's Gala Tribute

About this item

Title John Nelson's Gala Tribute
Description Gustav Mahler (1860-1911)
Symphony No. 2 in C Minor (Resurrection)

"Mahler's 'The Resurrection' was the selection that assured John Nelson's appointment as Music Director of the ISO. It's appropriate that it's the last performance he will direct in that capacity. There will be special activities all evening long to salute Nelson's many achievements with the ISO, and to give him the tribute he so richly deserves."
