Plants Obtain Food

Description	Asks questions about food sources for plants, and uses coleus to illustrate foodmaking in green plants. Uses cinephotomicrography and animation to show the process of photosynthesis. The phenomenon of the conversion of light energy to chemical energy is noted. Carnivores, parasites and saprophytes are each defined and illustrated. Points out that all animals depend upon some form of plant life for food.
