Chemical conductors of electricity

About this item

Description The fact that aqueous solutions of many compounds can conduct electricity shows that the construction of atoms and compounds is essentially electrical in nature. Several types of compounds are dissolved in water to show that they can be classified as conductors or non-conductors. The difference between alternating and direct current is graphically demonstrated by means of a chemical reaction initiated by an electrical current.
