Mikami, whose popularity throughout the nation was implemented by his appearance in earlier NET series, “Japanese Brush Painting,” proves his skill as a storyteller during this series, much as he proved his artistic ability through the earlier series: Each program will include the completion of one folk tale accompanied by brush painting illustrations. The series was produced by station KQED, San Francisco, and should interest young and old alike."
