Bluffton - Cleveland Air Races - Trip to N.J., Newark, WN, and Home
About this item
Description |
This Holland selection takes us to the beautiful city of Cleveland, OH. Phil wants to see the Cleveland Air Races, and we watch as hundreds of different planes take to the skies for some impressive aerial maneuvers. The air show is exciting; planes zoom by at top speed, circle slowly around each other like aerial acrobats, or even leave designs of smoke behind them. Twenty, thirty planes at a time fly together in unison. It's an awesome sight. Not to mention, Philip Holland and his friends (an aviation club, it seems) flew their planes to Cleveland for the event. The Air Races conclude as a team of skydivers releases their parachutes one by one. From here, we hop back in the cockpit. The pilot chews and smokes a cigar, and we get a close-up of all the plane's intricacies and gadgets. We look out the window at the wing, and beyond at fields and countrysides below. Through the use of title cards, we learn that the plane flies over Pittsburgh, PA and Washington, D.C. (Description written by IULMIA staff) |
