Houses

Frink Studios produced a handful of advertisement for household improvement products.

O'Brien's Paint of South Bend, Indiana, holds the bulk of the ads produced. There are two quite similar cuts of "O'Brien Eggshell Paint"; the most significant difference between the two is that the alternate features a very well outlined silhouette of a woman in a steamy shower. This scene is replaced by a more tame shower scene in the versions which presumably ran on TV. The History Museum hosts brief history of the company and historic buildings. Further images and history can be found at PreservingHistoricSites and through the St. Joseph County Public Library. Genealogy has also shed light on the O'Brien Paint Company, as Thomas Hickey's family has traced his contributions to the edifice. The factory has been inducted into the National Registry of Historic Places

Included in this collection are two reels of outs and trims from Zephyr Awnings. Some of the awnings featured in these silent clips are strikingly similar to awnings shown on Zephyr's website. Additional information about Zephyr Awnings can be found here.
