 - March: Frink attends a news photography course at Kent State.

1941:

- February, 21: “Maurice Frink Combines Photography, Photojournalism in ‘Photo-Factual’ Career” (The DePauw, Feb. 1941), by Art Gremmer: Article describes Frink’s development as a still photographer and his publication the September issue of Popular Photography, which took first place.

- Wrote a column “The Bell Tower” with Jim Nevins in The DePauw

- May 12: “Maurice Frink Exhibits High-Speed Pictures” (The DePauw, May, 1941): Article about Frink’s experimentation with high speed photography.

1942:

- February 23: “Maurice Frink Wins Photography Award” (The DePauw, Feb. 1942): Frink wins nation-wide photography contest from Sigma Delta Chi, journalism honor society.

- Mirage Yearbook, DePauw University, features many photos of and by Frink.

- Graduated DePauw, spring.

- Nov. 03- “Maurice Frink wins Photographic acclaim” (Daily Banner, Nov. 3, 1942): Frink discusses his life after DePauw and impending deployment to Europe for service during WWII.

1943:

- April: Frink stationed in Accra, Gold Coast, Africa.

1944:

- January: Enters Italy with British Eighth British Army. (DePauw Alumnus)

- March:  In Italy with the American and British Armies with Office of War Information, the Psychological Warfare Branch. (DePauw Alumnus)

1946:

- November: Maurice Frink, Jr., is back in Europe for the UNRRA in the American Zone, Germany.

1947:

- March: Frink is chief information officer for UNRRA.

- December: Maurice Frink is now with the Special Services Division, Technical Information Branch, European Command, APO 807, New York City. He was married recently and his wife is a native of Esthstonia [sic]. They live in Bad Nauheim, Germany. (DePauw Alumnus)

- "Estonian spouse" is Jennie Lodahl: b. 11 May 1915, in Poland, possibly Inowroclaw.

1949:

- April- “Maurice Frink, Jr., ’42, is director of the Press Center at Stuttgart and had such unusual experiences as working with OWI during the war and accompanying refugee trains of displaced persons into Poland behind the Iron Curtain. Frink will be remembered as a student photographer during the four years he was on the campus and he still wields a wicked camera” (“Life in Berlin Under the Blockade”, Major Russel Alexander, ’25, DePauw Alumnus)

- November 23, 1949: Jennie Lodahl Frink arrives in Elkhart, IN.

1950:

- March- Frink oversees 95 newspapers published in Wuert-Baden, making sure they hew close to the democratic line. (DePauw Alumnus)

- FRINK FILM STUDIOS OPENS

1973:

-Married Blanche Elizabeth Davis (b. 21 Oct. 1908 in Ottumwa, IO), on 1 June. 

2001:

- Febrary 18, died in Elkhart, IN
